Perfect Date

4/25, my nib’s birthday, the perfect date (not too hot or too cold), and it was an emotional roller coaster. Got discombobulated by a reasonable exchange, got upset, used my logic centers and went on with my plans anyway. Got more than a full day of human warmth, allowed myself vulnerability, cried in grief, played table top games, and was rewarded with a casual but beautiful “I love you” surrounded by laughter and smiles.
